Please know that our top priority remains the safety, care and wellbeing of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Welcoming, safeguarding and taking care of others is at the very heart of what we do and who we are. At this moment, this means keeping our guests and colleagues safe by preventing the spread of COVID-19 – partnering with top experts to implement new standards of safety and enhanced operational protocols and procedures, which are among the most stringent in the hospitality industry.
As of March 1, 2022, a number of the Government of Alberta’s public health measures were lifted including:
– Provincial mask mandate
– Capacity on all large venues and entertainment venues
– Indoor and outdoor social gathering limits
Masks are no longer mandatory in the hotel’s indoor public spaces.
Travelling from outside of Canada?
Please ensure you have read, understood and complied with all Canadian requirements for all foreign nationals and permanent residents travelling into Canada. Information on testing services in Alberta can be found here.
Vaccinated International Travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers will no longer need to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test result or a quarantine plan to enter Canada by air, land or water. All travelers are still required to use ArriveCAN (free mobile app or website) to provide mandatory travel information within 72 hours of their arrival to Canada and/or before boarding a plane or cruise ship destined for Canada.
Travelers arriving to Canada from any country, who qualify as fully vaccinated, may need to take a COVID-19 molecular test on arrival if selected for mandatory random testing. Those selected for mandatory random testing are not required to quarantine while awaiting their test result.
Partially or Unvaccinated International Travelers
If partially or non-vaccinated, proceed to 14 day quarantine. If you have no symptoms and your second test taken 8 days after arrival in Canada results come back negative, you may exit quarantine once you have completed the mandatory 14 day quarantine. Effective April 25, 2022, travelers 11 years of age or younger who are accompanied by a fully vaccinated parent, step-parent, guardian or tutor will no longer be required to complete a pre-entry COVID-19 test for entry to Canada and are no longer required to provide a quarantine plan upon entry.
Travelers with a medical contraindication to a COVID-19 vaccine are no longer required to provide a quarantine plan upon entry.
Unless otherwise exempt, all travelers 12 years of age or older who do not qualify as fully vaccinated must continue to provide proof of an accepted type of pre-entry COVID-19 test result and must submit their quarantine plans through ArriveCAN (free mobile app or website) 72 hours before boarding a flight to Canada or arriving at the land border crossing.
- A valid, negative antigen test, administered or observed by an accredited lab or testing provider, taken outside of Canada no more than one (1) day before their initially scheduled flight departure time or their arrival to the land border or marine port of entry; or
- a valid negative molecular test taken no more than 72 hours before their initially schedule flight departure time or their arrival at the land border or marine port of entry; or
- a previous positive molecular test taken at least 10 calender days and no more than 180 calender days before their initially scheduled flight departure time or their arrival at the land border or marine port of entry. It is important to note that positive antigen test results will not be accepted.
All Travelers – Fully, Partially & Unvaccinated International Travelers
All travelers are still required to submit their mandatory information in ArriveCAN 72 hours prior to their arrival in Canada. Travelers who arrive without completing their ArriveCAN submission may have to test on arrival and quarantine for 14 days, regardless of their vaccination status.
All travelers outside of Canada should familiarize themselves with the entry requirements of the country they’re departing Canada for. For example, travelers re-entering the US will need to be tested no more than 1 days before traveling by air into the United States and show a negative result to the airline before boarding the flight.
The new operational standards being implemented at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Accor properties across North & Central America were developed and vetted by a team of expert advisors to ensure maximum efficacy in preventing the spread of all viruses and pathogens.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge follows the Alberta Health Services Mandate. Effective March 1, 2022, masks are no longer required for our guests and colleagues. Guests and colleagues are welcome to wear masks wherever they feel comfortable throughout the property, should they choose to do so.
Guests will see ALLSafe and Well signage and digital communications visible throughout the property, encouraging social distancing, handwashing, and sanitizer use. Social distancing is encouraged with floor decals to guide guests to engage in best practices to protect themselves and others. We have increased our touchpoints of the public areas with attendants to support the increased cleaning surfaces frequency. They are using recommended cleaning agents, focusing on high-touch, high traffic areas. During your stay, according to AHS, masks are no longer mandatory indoors. You are welcome to enjoy the vast outdoors of Jasper National Park, but ensure that you maintain your distance from other guests and practice prevention tactics by washing your hands.

Our highly respected housekeeping team at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge will go beyond room and suite preparation standards. Each room undergoes deep cleaning of surfaces using EPA-registered disinfectant chemicals proven effective in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 by scientific experts to kill bacteria and viruses. High standards of hygiene and cleanliness are already delivered across all our brands, all over the world. However, the COVID-19 pandemic demands that we elevate those standards even further; therefore, we have launched the ALLSafe label, representing some of the most stringent cleaning standards & operational procedures in the hospitality industry.
In accordance with the restrictions put in place by the Government of Alberta, our priority is to safeguard, protect and care for our valued guests. We’ve increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting and new menu presentation options. We have also introduced new service processes to reduce contact with food and service equipment. We are committed to providing you with a dining experience you can enjoy with confidence.

We’ve taken contactless to a whole new level with our comprehensive guest service app, KIPSU. This app is easily downloaded to your smartphone or device. It offers digital menus to all of our venues, activity guides, and text messaging with our Royal Service Team. COLLEAGUE SAFETY & Training
We are proud to say that all of our colleagues are fully vaccinated. Our colleagues will each receive COVID-19 related training and retooling with guidance and reminders to: Stay home if not well, wash hands repeatedly and thoroughly and follow all safety protocols for their particular responsibilities and guest interactions.
