Please know that our top priority remains the safety, care and wellbeing of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Welcoming, safeguarding and taking care of others is at the very heart of what we do and who we are. At this moment, this means keeping our guests and colleagues safe by preventing the spread of COVID-19 – partnering with top experts to implement new standards of safety and enhanced operational protocols and procedures, which are among the most stringent in the hospitality industry.

Your experience at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge may be a bit different than you’re accustomed – including physical distancing; mandatory screening for all guests and employees, which may include a temperature check; and face coverings mandated for all guests and employees in all indoor public spaces.

The new operational standards being implemented at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Accor properties across North & Central America were developed and vetted by a team of expert advisors to ensure maximum efficacy in preventing the spread of all viruses and pathogens.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge follows the Alberta Health Services Mandate requiring all guests, colleagues and Lodge visitors to wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth while in all public spaces. People are required to maintain a minimum of 6-feet of physical separation from all other persons outside your family group or immediate party.
When you arrive on the property, our team will greet you to conduct a temperature check and receive your wellness kit to ensure your safety during your stay. The kit contains items like hand sanitizer, a mask, and gloves to use during your stay.



Guests will see ALL Safe and Well signage and digital communications visible throughout the property, encouraging social distancing, handwashing, and sanitizer use. Social distancing is encouraged with floor decals to guide guests to engage in best practices to protect themselves and others. We have increased our touchpoints of the public areas with attendants to support the increased cleaning surfaces frequency. They are using recommended cleaning agents, focusing on high-touch, high traffic areas. During your stay, according to AHS, masks to be worn indoor public space at all times. You are welcome to enjoy the vast outdoors of Jasper National Park, but ensure that you maintain your distance from other guests and practice prevention tactics by washing your hands.

signature Cabins

Our Signature Cabins are secluded cabins that allow for complete isolation during your stay at the Lodge. Our outstanding housekeeping team is prepared to ensure the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are upheld. Our cabins provide a luxurious secluded experience with living areas, personal kitchens for in-room dining with our extensive menu or make your meal kits, outdoor areas and more. The in-room spa kits are the perfect way to unwind in your cabin and can be ready for you upon arrival. We want to ensure that your stay is as safe and comfortable as possible. Rooms & Suites

Our highly respected housekeeping team at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge will go beyond room and suite preparation standards. Each room undergoes deep cleaning of surfaces using EPA-registered disinfectant chemicals proven effective in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 by scientific experts to kill bacteria and viruses. High standards of hygiene and cleanliness are already delivered across all our brands, all over the world. However, the COVID-19 pandemic demands that we elevate those standards even further; therefore, we have launched the ALLSAFE label, representing some of the most stringent cleaning standards & operational procedures in the hospitality industry.



In accordance with the restrictions put in place by the Government of Alberta, our priority is to ensure social distancing and to safeguard, protect and care for our valued guests. At this time, a maximum of six guests from the same immediate household are permitted at a table and there can be no movement between tables. Those who live alone can dine with up to two non-household contacts as long as they’re the same two contacts throughout the duration of the restrictions. A face mask (covering mouth, nose and chin) must be worn at all times in the restaurant when not seated at your table. Liquor service is not permitted past 10:00 PM.
In addition, we’ve increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, added masks’ use by our colleagues and new menu presentation protocols. We have also introduced new service processes to reduce contact with food and service equipment. We are committed to providing you with a dining experience you can enjoy with confidence.

As per Government of Alberta mandated restrictions, our health club, pool, spa lounge, lockers and showers remain closed at this time. Couples treatments are also temporarily unavailable.

Colleague Training & Safety

Our colleagues will each receive COVID-19 related training and retooling with guidance and reminders to: Stay home if not well, wash hands repeatedly and thoroughly, wear masks while at work and follow all safety protocols for their particular responsibilities and guest interactions. All colleagues will participate in mandatory health screenings, which include temperature checks upon entrance to the resort. It’s important to us that both our guests and our colleagues are safe and well.

Guest Communication

We’ve taken contactless to a whole new level with our comprehensive guest service app, KIPUS. This app is easily downloaded to your smartphone or device. It offers digital menus to all of our venues, activity guides, and text messaging with our Royal Service Team.
