The Barbicon

The Barbicon offers an intimate, elevated steakhouse experience layered in the history and landscape of Jasper National Park. Named for the nearby Barbican Pass – where ancient artifacts have emerged from retreating ice – the restaurant draws themes of discovery, time, and place.

Centered around the original 1922 stone fireplace, the space is warm and deeply atmospheric, designed for evenings of meaningful connection. Seasonal tasting menus highlight regional ingredients, thoughtfully composed to reflect the character and elevation of the surrounding wilderness.

As Jasper’s luxury steakhouse, The Barbicon focuses on expertly prepared cuts, sourced with care and cooked with precision, alongside seasonal accompaniments that reflect the surrounding region.  Here, every course is as intentional as the experience.
