Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Spa Leader Takes Stage At Global Wellness Conference
– Anna McAlary Selected to Speak at the World Spa and Wellness Conference –
JASPER AB – Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge’s Spa Operations Manager, Anna McAlary, will lend her expertise alongside some of the world’s most renowned spa and wellness leaders at the World Spa and Wellness Online Conference. Taking place February 28 to March 2, 2021, the conference is part of a global platform providing the latest advice, insight and practical education from international industry leaders.
Anna was chosen out of hundreds of applicants to be a guest speaker, and she will take the stage alongside her mentor Emlyn Brown, Global Vice President, ACCOR Wellbeing Luxury & Premium Brands, to discuss the theme ‘Caring for Care-givers’. Anna will take a deep dive into balancing the “commercial” need versus the “care” need in her spa, what challenges she has faced, how she has inspired and reassured her team during Covid-19 and new leadership skills needed in these times of uncertainty.
Anna’s journey into the wellness industry began in 2008 while attending esthetic college in New Brunswick, Canada. She quickly jumped into the luxury hotel & spa industry, beginning her career with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. Anna has held several progressive positions with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Fairmont South Hampton in Bermuda. In 2017, she was appointed as the Spa Operations Manager of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and continues to lead her team, earn recognition, and successfully deliver top luxury services.
To strengthen her understanding of the industry, Anna recently graduated from Spa Education Academy Spa Management CIBTAC and Ecornell leadership courses. The mind, body, health and wellness industry is a personal and professional passion for Anna, and her focus is to influence her team in this exact way.
